Rosailyn has 20 years of specialized experience working with children with developmental delays. She is the owner and founder of New Beginnings Speech Therapy Solutions, LLC. She received her Bachelor in Speech and Language Pathology and Masters of Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Southern University A&M College in December 2001. Her concentration is in the pediatric population; Early Intervention, and servicing children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Her passion is also for helping school-aged children with literacy and reading difficulties. Rosailyn believes that we must give our children the tools needed to compete with a growing world. She further believes that it all starts with a child's ability to communicate effectively. Rosailyn completed her clinical fellowship year at The Louisiana School For The Deaf where she specialized in working with children with hearing impairments. Here is where her interest in American Sign Language began, which later became a valuable asset in working with non-verbal children. She continued working as a fully licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the Special Needs Department for the next four years. Rosailyn currently works as a Early Intervention Specialist with the birth-three population and as a part-time private school therapist working with school-aged typically developing children as well as hearing impaired children addressing language, articulation, auditory rehabilitation, and fluency in both individual and group settings. Her primary area of research is early language and literacy development with an emphasis on children with developmental delays. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech–Language–Hearing Association and is licensed to practice speech and language therapy in the State of Louisiana. Rosailyn frequently attends continuing education courses to stay current in this ever evolving field. She strives to provide the best therapy techniques, combined in a nurturing, goal-oriented and motivating one-to-one or small group session. Her vision is to build a compassionate, result-driven speech and language therapy center that aims to provide services in a relation of confidence and trust.
